Find the Right Fitness Class for You

Happy Wednesday babes! As you can probably tell from my Instagram, I’ve been a little MIA from the social media , since its a hard time that we are going through right now.

Fitness is such a personal journey, and one negative experience can really turn it around for you. I find that most people struggle with sticking to their fitness goals because they’re not enjoying their workouts, and this is how I used to be too! I’ve never been a big fan of the Gym and outside activities when it comes to work out and not very motivated but when I first started working out regularly, and trying new classes .

(Thanks to pass class .. this is not advertised. )

As you all know, I swear by reformer pilates as my go-to workout. I’ve been working in new things everyday when I have some time, and have really changed my body for the better.

Since experiencing the fitness and wellness landscape in Miami more in-depth, again class pass its a great option babes! I’ve been able to find the best workout for me and my goals in a long term. However, my fitness journey isn’t the same as yours, or anybody and I’d like to help you find the right fitness class to try.

Here's some little tips , some things to consider when signing up for a class!.

Where to Start?

Determine Your Goals: What do you want to get out of this? If your goal to tone and sculpt your body, you need to attend classes catered to that. The same goes for bulking up or shedding weight. No workout is the same and everything is unique to your needs. Take some time to figure out what you really want before signing up for a class and making a commitment.

Know Your Fitness Level: You’ll also need to know what you can handle. Some of us are beginners, while others are more advanced and intermediate. Keep factors like stamina, strength, and your current health in mind when researching classes.

Know What You Don’t Like: Do you hate running, dancing? Do you like loud music? Those are just two things to consider. You have to know what you don’t like before signing up for a class. The last thing you want to do is walk into a room and have a terrible experience. However, if you’re trying to work on enjoying something more, it might be worth trying a class that will make you step out of your comfort zone.

Follow Your Schedule: If a class doesn’t work with your schedule, it’s not going to work for you period. Make sure you can get there on time and enjoy the full workout and stick to it. If not, there’s no point in wasting your time or money for something that you don’t have the time to commit because I know commit sounds scary but if you try and love it believe me you will not want to go anywhere else. good news!! There’s plenty of options, and plenty are bound to work with your schedule.

Signing to popular classes

Pilates & Yoga: These two are ideal for anyone who prefers low impact exercise. You’ll still get the benefits of feeling the burn and working your muscles, but your workout will be slowed down.

Both pilates and yoga can help teach you how to focus more on your body and the strength builds from there.

Barre: Want to focus on your core? Then barre might be for you. It’s a full body workout that helps strengthen the core and work those muscles on a ballet bar and across the floor with ballet-inspired moves. It’s not easy, but in the long-run you’ll sculpt every inch of your body.

HIIT: High Intensity Interval Training is everywhere now a days. These workouts really push you to your full potential and yes, they’re very intense. They’re designed to burn well over 1,000 calories per session and get your heart rate pumping.

Cycling/Spinning: This is my favorite class!! Fitness bikes have had quite the decade. Everyone from your favorite celebs to your co-workers can be found hopping on a bike at the nearest spin class and that’s because it’s a good workout. It’s not for everyone but if you want to safely work on your legs, back, core, and arms, all it takes is 45 minutes. This is an excellent cardio session!

Sculpting: Want to add weights? Sculpting classes have got you covered. These workouts incorporate free weights, kettle balls, and dumbbells for maximum benefits. It’s typically a body weight exercise with a little bit of cardio. Your muscles will be shining through in a couple of weeks if you stick to it!

and so there's many others you can try out and with time figure out if you feel comfortable and what works for you or not.

I'll leave some links to inspire you to check out and if you like it .. your welcome! :)
